Art on Display – Launch Pad Brewery rotating art show

CCAL is proud to announce a rotating art show in partnership with Launch Pad Brewery in Bennett, CO!

Overview

1. Rotation Schedule

  • Exhibits rotate every 3 months
  • Installation:
    • First Monday of the rotation month (starting in July)
    • Artists are expected to drop off and pick up on the scheduled date/time
    • Date/Time shared upon acceptance to quarterly show

2. How to Apply
Submit via email to CCALartcalls@gmail.com Please include:

  • Name & contact info (phone and email)
  • 1–3 images of your artwork. Please add medium and size (including frame); max size 18×24.preferred.
  • Your preferred show time (Q1, Q2, Q3 or Q4). You can also answer with “any,”
  • Please note, space is limited, and we may not be able to accept all submissions. This is why we ask for preferred show times in case we have to add to wait list.

3. Display Guidelines

  • Work must be ready to hang (framed and proper hardware/wiring) Pieces may be rejected if not properly prepped. Gallery wrapped canvas is acceptable.
  • No explicit, political, or religious content – family-friendly venue
  • Label each piece on back with title, price, contact info
  • Once submitted artwork cannot be removed from the venue without notification to CCAL. If a piece is sold it may be replaced by another piece from the selling artist.
  • CCAL is not responsible for unclaimed art after the show has ended. Artists are responsible for pick up/switch out at the designated time. Artists may designate others to switch out art in their place but please notify CCAL of the change.

4. Sales and Payment

  • Venue does not process sales – artists manage transactions
  • CCAL will have labels available at drop off or you can bring your own (no larger than business card size). Please include clear payment/contact info (recommend QR codes for payment options such as PayPal or Venmo etc).
  • Buyer will confirm payment with Brewery staff before taking piece out of location.
  • Brewery will notify CCAL contact of sale and artist will be asked if they’d like to bring a replacement.

5. Liability & Insurance

  • Venue is not liable for damage, theft, or loss
  • Artists may carry their own insurance
  • A waiver must be signed prior to installation and will be shared with you upon acceptance to showing/signed at drop off.

CCAL has the right to turn away any artwork that does not follow these guidelines.

Helpful tips Q&A

Q. Can someone else drop off/pick up my artwork?

A. Yes, as long as tags are filled out with proper information and meets framing/hanging requirements.

Q. Can I drop my artwork off at the CCAL meetings?

A. No, CCAL staff cannot be responsible for your artwork.

Q. I don’t have a way to take payment.

A. It is advisable that you sign up with a payment app such as Venmo or PayPal. With Square you can make payment over the phone. You can leave your phone number on your card and set a time to meet the buyer to make cash purchases.

Q. Does CCAL or the Brewery take a commission?

A. No.

Q. Is there a fee to enter my work?

A. No.

Q. How do I price my art?

A. Price your art with what you are comfortable with. CCAL is always happy to help you with this.

Q. What do I do if I absolutely can’t pick up my art on the scheduled date?

A. Try to have someone else pick up your art first. Otherwise, contact CCAL to schedule an alternative pickup time/place.

Q. Does my artwork have to be for sale?

A. No

Q. Do I have to be a CCAL member?

A. No, however we hope that you join us soon. There is no membership fee.

In the meantime, please represent yourself in a professional manner as CCAL does have the right to refuse participation.

Q. What is Gallery wrapped canvas?

A. Gallery wrapped canvas is typically 2” or thicker canvas panels, not typical ¾” canvas that does require frame.

Q. What if I don’t have a title for my artwork?

A. You can write “untitled” in title space. Suggestion: Mark with “untitled” plus description-landscape, cat, flowers, etc.
