My paintings are described as eclectic and imaginative. The focus of my work revolves around portraits of animals or people incorporated with other fun elements. Both my oil paintings and mixed media paintings let the viewer explore their imagination.
As I continuously strive to be a successful artist I enjoy helping others in their art journey. My mission is to help artists avoid some of the mistakes I have made along my journey. When I began I did not have any resources or guidance and felt very alone. I try to make all the new artists that I meet that they are not alone and not to give up.
For many years I have volunteered in countless art committees, commissions and councils hoping to learn all aspects of the art world. I use this information to help others navigate their art success with ease and confidence. I still am learning something new everyday as the art market changes rapidly.
In co-founding Corridor Creative Arts League, CCAL, I feel that I have the honor of working with very motivated artists. Together we are making a difference in a small rural area of Colorado’s eastern plains by growing a family of talented people and helping them achieve their goals. Our group, CCAL, will make an everlasting positive footprint that will hopefully last for generations.
