Grant Funding

In 2023 CCAL decided to apply for our very first grant with the Town of Bennett. We received a phone call in July 2023 with the wonderful news that we were approved. Wow! What a turn of events for our little group. This grant has allowed us to do many things that we thought were out of reach. So far with this grant we were able to add an extra class, purchase some very needed equipment and build this web site.

One of our favorite purchases is our new mobile art grid. This will allow the CCAL members to have artwork shown at local businesses. In 2024 we will have artwork displayed at High Plains Bank. As a supporter of the arts, High Plains Bank is allowing CCAL to display artwork obtained from the Bennett community in their building throughout the year. What a privilege! We will also be using our new grid system during the very popular I70 Party in the Park show in July inside our second favorite purchase, A new art tent.

Each purchase we make we have our members in mind and make careful decisions so our members can thrive. As we move forward we will always keep in mind how the Bennett Gives Back grant gave CCAL the chance to help our local artists succeed in their creative journey.
