Tammi Williams

As “FeatsOfClayColorado” I make and market whimsical ornaments, sculptural jewelry, and purposeful items from reclaimed materials.  I also teach regularly at the Eagle View Active Adult Center, within the Anythink library system and at area art guilds.  My favorite subjects are birds, mammals and steampunky things.

I became hooked on polymer clay around 2009, when I saw a sculptured cat bead and learned it was made in a medium I had never heard of…polymer clay!  Ever since, it has been an immersive journey of learning and experimenting with new techniques.  I enjoy the tactile sensation of shaping the clay by hand, mixing colors, and mimicking fur, leather, metal, precious stones and more.

In addition to being a member of, and inspired through the Corridor Creative Arts League, I belong to the Mile High and Longmont Polymer Clay Guilds, as well as the International Polymer Clay Association, and regularly have pieces selected for the Brighton Eye-For-Art show.  My upcoming ventures include developing further sculptures, and publishing online tutorials using basic shapes to guide novices through the creation of their own sculptures.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to Corridor Creative Arts League for providing myself and other artists, opportunities to engage folks of all skill levels, in a wide range of mediums.   With support from both the community and individuals, CCAL can continue to bring art to everyone.
